What is mitral valve surgery?
When you say 'surgery', it is a term which means operation. It is a very broad term and when you attach the word mitral valve, it means it is an operation of the mitral valve. It is a general term per se because there are kinds of mitral valve surgery.
What is mitral valve repair?
Imagine that your heart is like an engine of a car. And in that engine, there is a part that is malfunctioning. You saw that the malfunctioning part has a clog which interferes for the engine to run smoothly. Instead of buying a new part, you just clear the clog and the engine is back to normal.
Just like in mitral valve repair, if the original mitral valve is damaged but not that severe, it only needs repair in which the original mitral valve is saved.
What is mitral valve replacement?
I'll be using the engine example again. What if the part that is malfunctioning is severely damaged and cannot be restored to its original state. For the engine to run smoothly, you need to take out the damage part and replace it with a new one.

An alarm device for people
All people had something that is very valuable to them. A great example would be a house. A house is a very valuable to most people, and they will do anything to protect it. The devices that I am talking about are fire alarms, burglar alarms, and many more.
Another that is valuable to us is of course, our parents and grandparents. We want to protect them as well as let them independent as possible in the later stages of their lives. But what if we are not present at their side, whom will protect them? We know that due to their age, their abilities are limited compared to their younger years. So how will we protect them even without our presence?
One way of protecting them is by having them a medical alarm. These are new devices that can prevent our folks from being harmed by something or by anyone. There are two devices that can be used for the safety of our folks.
One is the GPS Tracking Bracelet. It is a medical alarm device in which the wearer can be easily located in case they are lost, or people will be alarmed whenever they wander outside a zone wherein they are specified to be located at. Another medical alarm is the fall alert. Emergency people will be alerted whenever our folks happen to fall in their places.
This is one way of applying technology for the good use of people. Because of this devices, one can prevent harm, or prevent further damage to our folks.

Relax and spend time with your family
Stress is a thing that we cannot be avoided. It may come from our work, or it may come from our daily life. Sometimes, we forgot to chill out and relax. We spend more time in our work than with our family.
One way to relax is to stop in work for a while and travel to a beautiful place you've never been. One country that I want to go is Switzerland. Aside from being a neutral country, Switzerland has a lot to offer. They offer good places for extreme sports such as skiing, so why not try to go for a ski trip there, right?
Portes du Soleil is considered as the prime Swiss ski resort. Another good place to go is the 4 Valleys. Whenever you go to these places, it is better if you have a self-catered ski chalet because it can really save you a lot of money and it will provide you comfort and privacy as well. You can also cook your own food, have drinks with your friends in front of a fire place with holiday rental chalets.
This is a good place to spend your time with your friends and family. I am sure that after you've done this trip, you will feel fresh and you will relieve all the stress in your life.

Big Radiation Wave Text Message
I received a text message from my friend a few minutes ago about this big radiation wave. Here is the whole message that was sent from me(the message was originally in text shortcuts so I expanded to message for us to easily understand):
Please switch off all your handphones tonight...According to Metro TV, an international news,there will be a BIG RADIATION WAVE circulating thru the handphone towers at 11pm tonight which is very DANGEROUS to humans...Please inform your friends NOT to keep their phones with them...Please forward...
Did you receive this kind of text message? I don't know if this is a hoax or not, but I am turning my cellphone right now, just to be safe. It is better to be safe than sorry. Anyways, we'll do this just this 11pm.

Cheep Laptops: Where can I buy?
I've been thinking for a while if I will replace this old laptop of mine by a new one, or will I buy a new desktop computer. Though there are lots of affordable desktop PCs and cheep laptops nowadays, I do not know where can I buy one.
The only place that I know is in Gilmore, near St. Paul. But I know there are lots of outlets out there especially in malls offering quality products, but affordable as well. If you happen to know where can I buy cheep laptops, please leave a comment. Thanks in advance! =]
