Mother's Day @ Manila Ocean Park

Finally, I got the chance to visit Manila Ocean Park. I am from Tondo, and it is just five minutes away from our home, and I don't have the chance to go to Manila Ocean Park until now.


Honestly, I expected larger aquariums than they got. I mean, maybe three to four times bigger from what they have now. And I guess they should have made the 'Bahura' part a little bit larger, or they shouldn't allowed a ton of people to enter that place simultaneously because it gets pretty crowded, which makes the taking of pictures a little bit difficult. =]

Talking about taking pictures, using flash from your digicam is prohibited inside the Oceanarium. But the 'pasaway' (stubbornness) in me suddenly attacked, and I sneaked in a few shots using flash from my digicam, though I got warned the first time I used the flash. The thing is that if you don't use your flash when taking pictures from your cam, the pic will get blurry, unless you are using a dSLR. Here is one of the shots I got using the flash of my digicam. Since the pics were a little bit blurry without using the flash, I just turned my digicam to video mode. Luckily, I brought my extra memory cards and our video cam so that we captured every moment inside the Oceanarium.

All in all, the experience was great because the place is one of a kind here in the Philippines, and a lot of fishes were seen by me only for the first time. =]
